On February 17, ACoJ Fellowship Ministries (ACoJFM) hosted the first ever Black Heritage Festival in Altamonte Springs, FL. Spearheaded by long time community resident Bishop Dr. Preston Rolle, Sr., this celebration of positive American culture, holds the potential for change in an area historically associated with crime and drugs.

In fact, it is dubiously noted as the area where Corey Erving, son of NBA great Julius Erving, often purchased drugs which may have been an indirect factor in his untimely as the victim of a car wreck in 1998.
But as time passes, the need for change does not. With the ACoJ Black Heritage Festival, ACoJFellowship Ministries introduced a seed of hope that has the potential to change the social and economic landscape of the community and its residents.
